The Retain the Brains (RTB) Marketing Plan Competition was first conceived-of by Peter Bruu and organized by a small group of volunteers that care about this issue. As Rochester residents, we've seen a consistent outflow of our area's talented college graduates and young professionals, and concluded that these people must not be seeing all the awesome things Rochester can offer!
We concluded the best way to expose our area college students and graduates was to encourage them to help expose themselves and their peers… with prizes for the team that does the best job! Click here for the original Press Release.
All of our efforts in this endeavor were conceived to support and augment the current initiatives under way in the form of existing community marketing-the output of RTB will be used by the community leaders who craft our community's marketing message-with the goal of speaking more directly and persuasively to the audience Rochester seeks most to connect with-you!
The Rochester Young Professionals (RYP) is a peer-to-peer networking organization focused on connecting experienced and aspiring young professionals across the community. Our events and activities focus on casual networking, social events, volunteerism and informational presentations on timely community issues. RYP began in January 2003, and has grown to over 750 members since.
